About Our Chapter
Leaders of Tomorrow is a Toastmasters chapter dedicated to empowering individuals to become more confident speakers, effective communicators, and better leaders through regular, constructive feedback and practice.
All money raised through the chapter goes directly to Artists of Tomorrow, an international project that promotes the arts and creative expression around the world. When you grow as a speaker with us, you are also helping young artists everywhere find their voice.
A Safe Place to Grow
Everyone starts out feeling nervous — and that is perfectly okay. We provide a safe and supportive place to grow where mistakes are embraced as part of the learning process. The goal is steady progress, not perfection.
No matter what role a member holds, they are expected to be respectful, quiet while others are speaking, encouraging, and kind. When you walk into a Leaders of Tomorrow meeting, you walk into a community that wants to see you succeed.
How Our Meetings Work
Every session is carefully structured so members can practise, receive feedback, and improve — all within a welcoming, collaborative atmosphere.
Opening
Our President opens the meeting, welcomes members and guests, and sets the tone for the session.
Prepared Speeches
Members deliver speeches they have researched and rehearsed, practising structure, storytelling, and delivery.
Feedback Sessions
Constructive, encouraging evaluations help every speaker understand their strengths and discover areas to refine.
Table Topics
Impromptu speaking rounds challenge members to think on their feet and respond confidently to surprise questions.
Club Roles
Our meetings are highly organised and collaborative. Members rotate through a range of roles that develop different leadership and communication skills.
Ah Counter
Helps speakers become more polished by counting filler words like "um," "uh," and "like."
Timer
Keeps every segment running smoothly, signalling speakers so they learn to manage their time effectively.
General Evaluator
Provides overarching feedback on the meeting as a whole, highlighting what went well and what can improve.
Table Topics Master
Selects impromptu questions and leads the Table Topics session, keeping speakers engaged and on their toes.
Speech Categories
Members gain experience through a rich variety of speaking formats, each building a different dimension of communication mastery.
Speeches to Inform
Teach and educate your audience using clear facts, compelling examples, and well-organised ideas.
Persuasive Speeches
